We all wish that our oriental dating were conflict free. However, due to the fact that we are different asian singles,
conflicts are a naturally occurring part of any online asian dating site. Unfortunately, most of us never learn how to deal
with them very well. Instead of resolving conflicts in a constructive manner, the process we use tends to make conflicts worse.
In this site we will first look at the dysfunctional ways oriental singles try to resolve conflicts which tend to result
in a losing situation. This will be followed by a description of a cooperative process that attempts to meet the needs
of oriental personals in a winning fashion. We will start with basic definitions of conflict and conflict resolution. Conflict
exists when there is a perceived divergence of interest or a belief that the parties’ current goals cannot be achieved
simultaneously. In other words, conflict exists when it seems that fulfilling asian personals goals in a given situation will
result in the other person’s goals not being fulfilled. A simple example could be something like one person wants to
stay home for dinner while the other wants to go out. A much more significant example could be asian girls want to have children
while the other doesn’t. In both of these examples, it appears that both people’s goals cannot be met at the same
time. We will see later that this may not actually be the case. It is important to note that many instances of perceived conflict
turn out, after deeper exploration, to involve apparent but not actual opposition. It may be the case that after discovering
